KABUL: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center has distributed 250 shelter aid packages, benefiting 1,500 individuals in the Nurgal district of Afghanistan, as part of its emergency response project to support those affected by the recent earthquake.
This initiative reflects the Kingdom’s continued commitment — through its humanitarian arm, KSrelief — to stand with the brotherly Afghan people and ease their suffering.
In September, the center launched and concluded several major relief initiatives across Africa.
In Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, the center inaugurated a large-scale food security support project designed to help the country’s most vulnerable communities.
The program distributed 38,900 food baskets, each weighing 40 kilograms and containing essential food items, reaching approximately 233,400 individuals across multiple regions.
The initiative forms part of ÂÜÀòÊÓƵ’s pledge to support the Lake Chad region, a commitment made during the 2024 Jeddah Donors’ Conference.
