JEDDAH: King Abdulaziz University, through its Faculty of Architecture and Planning, has completed a virtual tourism project using geomatics technologies to deliver interactive tours of key tourist destinations.

The initiative enhances the visibility of cultural and heritage sites, and reflects the growing use of technologies to collect, analyze and interpret spatial data, the Saudi Press Agency reported.

RIYADH: The sixth Jusoor exhibition, organized by the Saudi Ministry of Islamic Affairs in Pristina, Kosovo, offered visitors an immersive experience of the Kingdom’s heritage.

The event featured the aroma of incense, the flavor of authentic Saudi coffee, a traditional Najdi majlis and an interactive photo booth, according to the Saudi Press Agency.

At the Saudi coffee section, visitors savored traditional Saudi hospitality with each sip, complemented by the soothing aroma of incense.

RIYADH: The Misk Heritage Museum, known as Asaan, a new facility focused on preserving ��Ƶ culture, has signed a 30-year agreement with Art of Heritage, affiliated with the Al-Nahda Society.

The partnership will ensure a showcase of thousands of rare pieces from Art of Heritage, including collections related to the Saudi way of life.

Asaan will house and manage Art of Heritage’s collection of 57,000 ethnographic objects, including 3,000 pieces of jewelry, and over 3,000 garments.
